This is where we're going to be setting up a zone especially for and managed by our young bloods. The former Shetland Jazz club now JAWS was instrumental ('scuse the pun) in getting the young jazz scene to the fore here in Shetland. The Bop Shop, for a time, was a free jamming and gig place for guys like Hayden Hook, Norman Wilmore, Jane McLaren. We hosted jazz jam nights with some of the biggest names in jazz, Tommy Smith, Gilad Atzmon, Tim Garland to name but a few. Many of our young dudes and dudettes have moved on to further their musical careers Sooth and abroad and wer'e going to get this re-energised with your support.

What we have planned are jam and recording sessions at the shop, tuition and band rehearsals with the odd intimate performance gigs. So watch this space and feel free to comment , critique and contribute via our facebook page or contact Jeff directly
